The Reverend Doctor Victor M. Davis has served as the Senior Pastor of the Trinity Baptist Church, Columbus, Ohio since August of 1997. Through his leadership as pastor, preacher, priest, prophet and teacher he leads the disciples of Trinity in proactive ministry that is committed to “Compelling the World to Salvation and Discipleship.”
Under the visionary leadership of Pastor Davis the church’s ministry focus is Christ centered in service to the people of God through the efforts of several ministries within the church. Located in the historical Near Eastside of Columbus, Trinity is committed to the community. This is evident through partnership with LifeCare Alliance which is housed in the church that provides basic healthcare for disciples of the church and residence of the community daily, the opening of the Rejoice Christian Bookstore, the Revival Development Community Corporation, the EDEN after school program, the Stratton Missions House, and the Master Plan that includes the physical expansion of the church’s physical plant with the addition of Trinity Worship Center, formation of a Senior Community of Living, and TriKids Childcare Facility. With the expansion of ministry the church is to opening a transitional resident that will provide ministry to ex-offenders as they are reenter to the community. Most recently Trinity through the church sponsored development cooperation entered a partnership with three other churches and an African American Greek letter organization that has been approved to sponsor the building of moderate and upper income housing in the community. The church publishes a Christian Magazine, “The Compeller” quarterly. The ministry of Trinity is a growing diverse ministry that presently has several active ministries committed to the growth and ministry of maturing Christians.
